City Software was born in 1991 with the desire to find a smarter way for Australians to buy business and educational software. In the days when the reputation of mail order was terribly slow and usually selling inferior products, we pioneered and set the standard that many have copied today.

Australians want a great deal, fast service, questions answered and problems solved without hassles. Therefore we introduced "express mail order" to Australia. Saving you time and money, nothing is faster than simply picking up your phone, sending a fax/email or ordering online for your order to be couriered directly to you!  With the efficiencies gained with the clever utilisation of state of the art technology in addition to our huge buying power, we can consistently offer you a better price.

Our consistent growth over the last 12 years has enabled us to successfully acquire ISWH in 2001 and eStore in 2003, adding our hardware and consumables range.  To serve our many customers who prefer to pick up their order, we have recently introduced a new showroom at the Mt Waverley (VIC) distribution centre as well as a shop in North Sydney.

As a result of the expertise developed in the utilisation of IT for distribution based businesses, and the need in the small to medium sized companies for such solutions, we formed a separate business "City Software Business Solutions".  Founded in 1998, this expert team offers complete ERP solutions with an exceptional quality, revolutionising the operations and capacity of our customers.

Trevor Bell - Managing Director  is a licensed auctioneer, Trevor is highly respected by his peers and brings a wealth of knowledge to the organisation.
