The Fire Police have one of the most important jobs in the department. When the call comes in the Fire Police are the ones at all the intersections in route to the scene assuring that the Apparatus gets to the scene in quick time and safely.

On top of that they secure the scene and watch and protect the firefighters from potentially deadly hazards that may not be apparent to the firefighter. Assisting in water and ice rescues and gathering info from by-standers as to what happened, Fire Police is a must.
