A fire department has to utilize
many different tools some are common and some are tools which you can not buy in
your local hardware store. In the next 2 pages you will see some of the
more important tools used for as many reasons as we can find for them.
Tools are broken down into 2 categories.
Tools that are used in fighting a fire and tools that are used in the aid and
effort of rescuing a person or animal. Some tools are actually custom made for
fire / rescue and have no other use and some were designed by firefighters to
better aid a department in effectively doing our job.
